Tips for a backyard water fight

Set up a big bucket or tub as a refill station so kids can top up quickly without leaving the hose running. Pump action models work best when the tank is filled right up and the pump is pulled all the way back before each shot. Agree on a few simple rules before starting, like no aiming at faces and no squirting people who are out of the game. Afterwards, empty each water gun and leave it to dry with the cap off before putting it away. Always supervise children around water.
