How to plan an Easter egg hunt

Easter falls in March or April, over the long weekend from Good Friday to Easter Monday. For 10 kids, hide eight to ten eggs each and give every child a basket or bucket so the haul is easy to share out. Mark the area with hunt signs, lay a footprint trail to the start and count the eggs as you hide them so none are left in the garden. In warm weather, hide chocolate in the shade and just before the hunt starts. Set a craft table for younger kids who finish early, and dress everyone in bunny ears for photos. Stock up on eggs and treats from our lollies and confectionery range, and see kids costumes for school Easter hat parades.
