Coasters

Our coasters range includes more than 120 designs, priced from $2.99 to $47.99. There are boxed ceramic sets that make ready-made gifts, name and letter coasters, and practical cork and woven styles for everyday use. With NSW stores, The Base Warehouse is handy for a quick gift.

What is in the coasters range

Ceramic gift boxes make up a big part of the range, with 4 Pack Ceramic Zodiac Coaster Gift Boxes ($29.99) for all twelve star signs, plus Rose, Cinnamon and Wren Ceramic Coaster Gift Boxes (10cm x 10cm, $29.99). Motif Coasters ($5.99) come in letters and names such as Hannah, Samantha, Patrick and Tom. Legend Coasters ($5.99) include Boss, Fishing, Golf, Pa and Teacher designs. Resin sets include the Set of 4 Floret Resin Coasters in Box (11.5cm, $47.99). For natural textures there is the 4 Pack Natural Woven Round Coaster (12cm, $10.79), and the 10 Pack Cork Coaster Shape ($3.99) is ready for craft projects.

How to choose coasters

Start with what goes on them. Cork, woven and macrame coasters soak up condensation from cold glasses, which makes them a good fit for summer drinks. Ceramic and resin coasters wipe clean and look smarter on a coffee table. A 10cm coaster fits most mugs and glasses, but check the base of wide mugs before you buy. For a gift, a name or letter coaster paired with a mug or glass is a simple present, and a zodiac gift box needs no wrapping.
