Depending on how you deal with us, we may collect:

• your name, email address, phone number, and delivery and billing addresses
• order details, including what you bought, when, and how you paid
• account details if you create an account, such as your login, order history and wishlist
• messages you send us through our contact and bulk order forms, by email, by phone or on social media
• reviews you leave on our website
• details needed for in store services, such as the name and phone number on a balloon order, and your driver licence when you hire a helium tank
• information about how you use our website, such as your device, browser, IP address, the pages you visit and the products you view

Card payments are processed by our payment providers. We do not see or store your full card number.

We collect personal information directly from you when you place an order, create an account, subscribe to our emails, fill in a form, contact us, or use a service in one of our stores.

5Marketing emails

If you subscribe, we will send you emails about new products, seasonal ranges and offers. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you at any time by emailing info@thebasewarehouse.com.au. We will still send you emails about your orders.

• Judge.me, which runs our product reviews, and Algolia, which powers our website search
• our professional advisers, and government or law enforcement bodies where the law requires it

We do not sell your personal information.

Some of the providers above store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States, Canada and other countries where they operate. We choose reputable providers and take reasonable steps to make sure they protect your information.

9Security and how long we keep it

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Our website and checkout use encryption to protect your information in transit.
