How to pick and care for a serving board

Size the board to the job. A 36cm board holds a cheese plate for two to four people, a 51cm board or round farmhouse board suits a family gathering, and the 90cm mango wood board is built for a long grazing spread down the middle of the table. Melamine platters and compartment condiment trays are practical for kids' parties, outdoor events and catering. For wooden boards, hand wash with warm soapy water, dry them standing on edge so both sides air out, and never leave them soaking in the sink.
