Easels include the Display Easel ($8.99), the Aluminium Table Easel ($29.99), a Table Easel that holds canvas up to 53cm ($39.99) and the Beech Wood Desk Easel with Drawer ($53.99). For kids, the Mini Canvas DIY Set comes with an 11cm x 11cm canvas, easel, brush and colours for $7.99.

How to choose a canvas and easel

Canvas panels and pads are flat, stack easily and suit practice, school work and trying new colours. Stretched canvas is fixed over a frame, so it is ready to hang once dry. Among the stretched cotton options, the 37mm canvases have deeper sides than the 17mm ones, which gives a finished look on the wall without framing. Before buying an easel, check the canvas size it holds: our table easels take canvas up to 50cm or 53cm. Pair your canvas with acrylic and craft paint and the right paint brushes and palettes.
