Everyday plastic baskets start with the Vienna 1L Basket at $1.79, plus Weave Baskets in small, medium and large ($4.99, $8.99 and $11.99). For washing day there is the Hip Hugger Basket, the 58L Washday Laundry Hamper With Lid and the 57L Washday Laundry Cart. How to choose the right basket

Measure the shelf or cube first, including the height, and allow a couple of centimetres for lifting the basket in and out. Keep seagrass, water hyacinth and palm leaf baskets for dry areas like living rooms, bedrooms and entries, where they hold throws, toys and magazines. In the laundry, bathroom and pantry, use plastic baskets that you can rinse out. Handles make high shelves easier. Buy the same basket in multiples for a shelving unit so everything lines up. For lidded storage see tubs and containers, and for shower caddies browse bathroom organisation.
