Halloween Spiders & Webs

Spider webs cover more ground for less money than any other Halloween decoration. The Base Warehouse stocks 33 webs and spiders from $1.80 to $12.99, from 100g bags up to a 2 metre jumbo web.

What is in the spiders and webs range

Cotton spiderweb comes in 100g, 200g and 500g bags in white and assorted colours, and a single 200g bag stretches far further than it looks in the packet. Stretchable webs come plain or bundled with spiders, in 20g, 50g, 56g, 100g and 240g. Jumbo webs cover a 2 metre span in one piece. On the spider side there are packs from 2 up to 50, plus larger statement pieces including a 125cm furry spider, a 60cm furry spider and felt and flocked spiders in the 7cm to 19cm range.

Stretching webs so they look real

The mistake everyone makes is not pulling hard enough. Take a small handful and stretch it until it is almost transparent, then anchor the corners and stretch again between fixed points. A thin web reads as a web. A thick clump reads as cotton wool. Anchor to corners, railings and branches rather than flat walls, and add a handful of spiders at the anchor points where a real web would be densest. One 200g bag covers a standard doorway and the bushes either side.

Shop Halloween spider webs in store or online

Webs are the first thing to sell out because everyone buys them at once, usually the same week. Add Halloween props and Halloween lights to finish the look, or see all our Halloween decorations. Order online for delivery Australia wide, or shop in person at any of our stores across New South Wales: Gregory Hills, Brookvale, Menai, Erina Fair, Lake Haven, Tuggerah and Wagga Wagga.
