How to choose the right air freshener format

Match the format to the space. Sprays give a quick hit of fragrance before guests arrive. Gels, cones and crystal beads release scent slowly and suit small rooms such as a bathroom, laundry or toilet. Vent sticks and clip fresheners are made for the car. Scented sachets and drawer liners go in wardrobes and linen cupboards. Choose lighter scents such as citrus or cotton for small spaces. Keep all fresheners out of reach of children and pets, and follow the directions on the pack. For home scent, look at reed diffusers, scented candles or the full home fragrances range.
