How to stock a kitchen from scratch

Start with the tools you use every day: a chopping board, a grater, a garlic press, a whisk, a slotted spoon, a can opener and a set of measuring tools. Add food storage next, choosing one container range so the lids and sizes stack together in the cupboard. Keep a drawer for cling wrap, foil, freezer bags and air fryer paper so you can see when you are running low. Leave gadgets like egg slicers and herb strippers until you know you will use them.
