How to use coloured hair spray for a colour day

Do a patch test first and follow the directions on the can, including how far to hold it from the hair. Spray dry hair in a well-ventilated spot, outdoors if you can, with an old towel over the shoulders and a hand or piece of card shielding the face and eyes. Build colour in light passes rather than one heavy coat, and let each pass dry before the next. Colour shows up brightest on light hair; on dark hair, try a coat of white first so fluro shades stand out. Keep the can away from flames and check it for removal directions.
