How to hang wall decor so it looks right

Hang art so its centre sits at about eye level, roughly 145cm to 150cm from the floor. Over a sofa or sideboard, choose a piece about two thirds the width of the furniture and leave a gap of 20cm to 25cm above it. For a gallery wall, trace each piece onto paper, tape the templates up and move them around before you put a single hole in the wall, keeping the gaps between frames even. Heavier pieces need a proper wall anchor or a stud, not just a nail. Themed walls work too: group the metal signs from our messages and signs range in a garage or bar area.
