How to use dog treats day to day

Treats work best as small rewards, so break larger pieces into bite-sized bits for training. Introduce one new flavour at a time and start with a small amount so you can see how your pet takes to it. Always read the pack for feeding directions and the suggested amount for your pet's size, and keep fresh water out. Stay with your dog while they eat jerky or chews, and take away any piece small enough to be swallowed whole. Seal or clip bags after opening and store them somewhere cool and dry, out of reach of curious noses.
