How to hang party decorations

Lightweight pieces like swirls, honeycomb balls and paper fans hang well from fishing line or thin ribbon, fixed to the ceiling with removable hooks or tape. Stagger the drops at different heights so the display looks full rather than lined up, and keep hanging birthday decorations above head height in walkways. Mirror disco balls are heavier, so use a proper hook for the 20cm and larger sizes and hang them where they will catch light from a window or lamp.
