How to use iridescent tableware

Iridescent finishes change colour depending on the light, so set the table near a window or under warm lights and they will glow pink, blue and gold. Pair iridescent plates and cups with one or two pastels, such as lilac, mint or pink, rather than lots of brights, so the shimmer stays the star. A foil backdrop behind the cake table makes a great photo spot. Paper plates with a foil finish suit cake, sandwiches and finger food rather than heavy, saucy meals.
