How to organise your fridge and freezer

In the freezer, portion food into bags before freezing, press the air out, write the contents and date on the bag, then freeze it flat so the bags stack neatly. In the fridge, group like with like in clear baskets: one for cheese and deli, one for snacks, one for sauces, so nothing gets lost at the back. A stackable bottle holder keeps wine and soft drink from rolling around on the bottom shelf. Mini freezer blocks (3 Pack, $2.50) keep lunch boxes cold on the way to school. For containers and jars see food storage, and for cold water on the go browse drink bottles.
