Animal Decor

Our animal decor range covers more than 230 figurines, statues, plaques and wall art, priced from $1.20 to $239.99. The Base Warehouse has stocked homewares since 1989, so there is something here for dog lovers, cat people, bird fans and anyone who likes an elephant on the shelf.

What is in the animal decor range

Pet owners can choose from Ceramic Piece Of My Heart Hanging Plaques at $9.99 in dozens of breeds, from Cavoodle and Kelpie to Groodle and Black Cat, plus metal wall hanging signs at 20cm x 27cm for $8.99 covering Husky, Rottweiler, Siamese Cat and more. Figurines range from the Miniature Owl at $1.20 to the Sitting Koala Bear at 33cm and Giraffe Sitting With Baby at 38cm. Elephants feature heavily, including the Gold Lotus Elephant in 17cm and 29cm. There are also memorial pieces such as the Memorial Dog Garden plaque at 21cm.

How to choose and display animal decor

Match the piece to the space: small figurines under 15cm suit bookshelves and bedside tables, while statues over 30cm, like the Laying Border Collie at 42cm, can stand on their own on a sideboard or by the door. Group odd numbers of the same animal in different sizes for a tidy look. Breed plaques and memorial pieces make thoughtful gifts after a new puppy arrives or a pet passes.
