Acrylic Storage

Acrylic storage lets you see exactly what is in a drawer or cupboard, and our range covers more than 35 trays, divided organisers, canisters and turntables from $2.50. The Base Warehouse has stocked home organisation since 1989, and most pieces come in several sizes from the same family, so you can build a system that fits your space.

What is in the acrylic storage range

The backbone is the Crystal Storage Tray in 16cm x 8cm x 5cm ($2.50), 24cm x 8cm x 5cm ($3.00), 32cm x 8cm x 5cm ($3.49), 16cm x 16cm x 5cm ($3.49) and 40cm x 16cm x 5cm ($6.99). Divided options include the Crystal Micro 7 Section, the Non-Slip 3 Section Crystal Organiser and the Crystal Hinged 8 Section Container ($12.99). Bigger pieces include the Crystal Storage Bin with Handle and the Boxsweden Large Crystal Turntable at 38cm ($23.99). Square Modular Canisters come in 460ml, 920ml, 1300ml and 1900ml, and acrylic canisters with gold, white or pink bows suit cotton pads or lollies.

How to plan a drawer or pantry layout

Measure the inside of the drawer first: width, depth and height. Then work in the 8cm and 16cm widths, because two 8cm trays sit beside one 16cm tray and the Crystal Storage Tray sizes combine into a grid with no wasted gaps. Keep the 5cm-high trays for cutlery, makeup and stationery drawers, and the taller containers for pantry shelves. A Lazy Susan Crystal (25cm) or a turntable stops jars getting lost at the back of corner cupboards. Wash with warm soapy water and a soft cloth rather than a scourer. For jars and lunch boxes, see our food storage containers, and for vanities browse bathroom organisation.
