How to decorate for Valentine's Day

Choose one colour story, usually red with pink or red with gold, and keep every piece inside it. For a dinner for two, a table scatter of rose petals and foil confetti, a couple of lanterns and a red foil door curtain behind the table will transform a dining room for under $30. For a party or restaurant, start with the backdrop and garland as the focal point, then repeat hanging hearts along the ceiling. Add heart foil balloons from Valentines balloons, and match plates and napkins from Valentine's Day tableware.
