Home Decor

Our home decor range brings together more than 2,500 pieces, from ceramic vases and artificial flowers to wind chimes, figurines and lanterns, with prices starting from $1.20. The Base Warehouse has been trading since 1989.

What is in the home decor range

The decorative vases start with the Sienna Ceramic Vase in 11cm at $8.99 and go up to the Corowa Ivory & Green Ceramic Vase at 32cm x 46.5cm for $239.99. For artificial flowers and plants, the Real Touch Artificial Orchid Pot comes in 50cm at $41.99 through to 72cm at $179.99, and Magnolia Stems in white, purple and brown are 74cm at $16.79. Wind chimes range from the Silver Classic 4 Tube Natures Melody Tuned Wind Chime in 85cm at $35.99 to the Gold Classic 5 Tube version in 130cm at $119.99. Figurines include the Green Marble Yoga Frog in 10cm at $5.99 and the Sitting Grey French Bulldog in 36cm at $83.99.

How to style home decor on shelves and tables

Work in groups of three or five and vary the height. A tall vase at the back, a mid height figurine and a low bowl or tray in front looks deliberate, while a row of same-sized pieces looks like storage. Measure before you buy: check shelf depth for wide vases, and for artificial stems choose a vase roughly half the height of the stem so the flowers sit up and do not flop. Repeat one colour or material, such as white ceramic or gold metal, across a room to tie separate pieces together. For more shelf pieces, see our decorative objects and accessories.
