How to choose a pot or planter

Pick a pot about 2cm to 5cm wider than the plant's current pot so roots have room. For live plants, check for a drainage hole: pieces like the Valentina Hanging Planter No Hole are best used as a cover pot, with a plastic nursery pot sitting inside. Use a saucer, such as the Flowerpot Saucer at 18cm, under indoor pots. For hanging planters, check the drop length against your ceiling. Pair them with artificial potted plants, macrame hangers or top soil with decorative pebbles.
