How to put together a costume

Start with the occasion and the dress code, then choose between a full costume and a build-your-own look. Full costumes save time for Book Week and school character days; check the size in the title, such as the Cat In Hat T Shirt - 8 - 10 Years or 12 - 14 Years, against clothes that fit now, and go up a size if your child is in between. For adult parties, build around one hero piece like a hat or wig, then add clothes from home in matching colours.
