How to put together a Book Week costume

Pick the one item that makes the character obvious: a striped top for Wally, a red cape for Red Riding Hood or a tall hat for the Mad Hatter. Kids sizes run from 3 - 4 Years to 11 - 12 Years; size up if they are between ages. A cheap accessory often does more than a full costume: the Green Soft Mad Hatter Hat at $14.99 or a $3.00 bee headband over their own clothes works well.
