Ceramic vases run from the Sienna Ceramic Vase in 11cm at $8.99 up to the White Genoa Composite Vase at 43cm x 60cm for $359.99. How to pull a room together

Start with one anchor piece, usually a painting, a large vase or a throw in the colour you want the room to lean towards, then pick two or three smaller items that repeat that colour. Group decor in odd numbers and vary the heights: a tall vase, a mid height figurine and a low bowl read better than three things the same size. Above a sofa, choose wall art roughly two thirds the width of the seat. On the sofa itself, two 50cm square cushions with a lumbar cushion in front give a finished look without crowding the seat. Keep fragrance to one scent family per room so a candle and a diffuser are not competing.

Not every purchase needs to be a room makeover.
