How to choose fidget toys for school, travel and parties

For the classroom, pick quiet toys: sticky fidgets, rotating rings and slow rise squishies make no noise, while clicker keychains are better saved for home. For the car or plane, small items that fit in a pocket or clip to a bag work best, and plush keyrings do double duty. Slime is the one to manage: keep it in its tub with the lid on when it is not in use, and play on a table rather than carpet or clothes. For parties, allow $3 to $5 a child and mix fidgets with loot bag toys so every bag is a little different. Whatever you buy, check the age rating on the pack for younger children.
