How to build a cleaning kit that covers the house

Work top to bottom and dry to wet: dust shelves and cobwebs first, then wipe benches, then sweep, then mop, so you are never cleaning the same dirt twice. Keep separate cloths for the kitchen and the bathroom, and a colour for each makes that easy. Rinse sponges after use and let them dry upright, and swap them out once they start to fall apart. Store your sprays, cloths and brushes in a caddy such as the White Plastic Cleaning & Storage Caddy with Carry Handle ($9.99). Always follow the directions on each product's label. Finish the job with the right size of rubbish bin, tidy the vanity with bathroom organisation, and see home maintenance for repairs.
