Careers Week

Our careers day costumes range has more than 70 products for Careers Week and dream-job dress-up days at school and preschool. It covers kids costumes, lab coats, hats, helmets, badges and play sets across firefighter, police, medical, chef, pilot, army and builder jobs, from $1.79 to $71.99. The Base Warehouse has been dressing up Aussie kids since 1989.

What is in the Careers Week range

Firefighters can choose the Sustainable Fire Fighter Printed Top & Hat Costume in sizes from 2 to 3 Years up to 8 to 10 Years ($35.99), or the Firefighter Jacket that fits up to 10 years. Police options include the Girls and Boys Police Officer Costumes (8 to 10 Years) and the Kids Black Police Vest & Helmet ($14.99). Medical dress-up covers the Sustainable Printed Dress & Headpiece Nurse Costume, Kids Blue Surgeon Doctor Costume, Kids White Lab Coat Costume and Nurse Doctor Red Stethoscope ($4.79). There are also Chef Jacket & Hat, Pilot Jumpsuit and Kids Builder costumes, plus the Kids Plastic Fire Fighter Helmet at $2.50 and the Aviator Silver Flight Captain Badge.

How to dress up for Careers Week

Start with the job your child picks, then check the age range in the title against their size. On a tight budget, build an outfit from their own clothes plus a hat and badge: a Yellow Neon Police Hat with a Police Badge Costume, or a lab coat and stethoscope, looks the part for under $30. Younger kids love a prop like the 11 Piece Police Fire & Military Play Set Toy. For more dress-up, browse our kids costumes, the full costumes range or other occasions.
